MARKET OUTLOOK
After trading within a 1,802 – 1,830-point range throughout the session, the VN-Index closed at 1,827.72 points, down more than 5 points from the previous day. Market breadth tilted negative, with 14 out of 18 sectors declining. Personal & Household Goods recorded the steepest loss, followed by Retail and Financial Services, among others. Regarding foreign trading activity, foreign investors were net sellers on HOSE and HNX, while recording slight net buying on UPCoM. VIC served as the key market support during today’s session, helping to limit the broader market’s correction. Investors continued to trade cautiously amid low market liquidity.

All futures contracts declined in line with the VN30 Index.

• Pulling the index up: VIC (+14.27), SSB (+0.88), VHM (+0.69), BSR (+0.32), DCM (+0.20).
• Pulling the index down: VCB (-2.39), TCB (-1.85), VPB (-1.37), HPG (-0.86), TCX (-0.78).
• The matched trade value of VN-Index reached VND 14,645 billion, decreased -5.32% compared to the previous session. The total transaction value reached VND 17,500 billion.
• The trading range is 27.73 points. The market had 93 gainers, 49 remaining unchanged, 236 losers.
• Foreign investors' net selling value: VND -1525.94 billion on HOSE, including VCB (VND -215.36 billion), VPB (VND -173.12 billion), TCB (VND -155.16 billion), VIC (VND -148.63 billion), HPG (VND -147.64 billion). Foreign investors were net sellers on HNX with the value of VND -52.51 billion.
