In addition, the Company provides jewelry evaluation services, operates hair salons and trades accessories. It is engaged in the trading of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), real estate operations and seafood processing through its subsidiaries and affiliates.

History
- PNJ was formerly Phu Nhuan District Jewelry Business Shop, which was established on Apr 28, 1988 under the People’s Committee of Phu Nhuan District.
- In the year 1990 the Shop was upgraded into Phu Nhuan Fine Arts-Foreign Currency Company under Financial Management Department of city committee.
- In 1992, the company changed its name to Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company.
- In Jan 2004, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company was officially transformed to a joint stock company with the initial charter capital of VND 40.000.000.000.
- On Mar 23, 2009, the company’s shares were officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
- PNJ's charter capital until Aug 2012 is VND 599.991.420.000 (without state’s capital).
- According to the company's 17th business license on Oct 03, 2012, the company's charter capital was adjusted to VND179,978,350,000
- In Nov 2013, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company increased its charter capital to VND 755,970,350,000
