The precursor of Vinh Khanh Cable Plastic Corporation is Vinh Khanh Rubber Enterprise, which was found in 1993 in the former Song Be province (now known as Binh Duong province). It main business activities were producing and trading plastic tube for post and telecommunication.
In 1995, the enterprise was renamed to Vinh Khanh Company Limited with registered capital of VND 5,3 billion under Establishment License No 3296/GB.UB dated Dec 05, 1995.
In 1997, charter capital was adjusted to VND 8,7 billion and additional scopes were registered, such as: trading and investing in telecommunication (starting with producing drop wire);
In Jun 2003, Vinh Khanh Company Limited was equitized and became Vinh Khanh Joint Stock Company under business registration certificate No. 4603000070 dated Jun 02, 2003 issued by Binh Duong province’s Department of Planning and Investment.
In 2005, the company was renamed to Vinh Khanh Plastic Cable Corporation with charter capital of VND 85 billion.
In 2007, charter capital was adjusted third time, from VND 85 billion to VND 86,4 billion (via issuing shares to existing shareholders), then to VND 100 billion (via paying dividend by shares) and later to VND 105,5 billion (via issuing shares to existing shareholders and the company’s employees).
In 2009, charter capital was adjusted to VND 130 billion.
On Nov 11, 2010, the Ha Noi Stock Exchange officially admitted the company’s trading registration on the exchange (stock code: VKC, listing volume: 13.000.000 shares). The first trading date was on Dec 08, 2010.
On Aug 01, 2016, its charter capital was adjusted to VND 200 billion.
