Yen Son HAPACO JSC is a Vietnam-based paper manufacturer. The Company, by acting as a paper mill, mainly produces based paper and other paper-related products for export purposes. Besides, it is involved transportation of passengers and goods through operation of a taxi fleet, tourist restaurant operations, and merchandise of operating supplies. The Company is a subsidiary of Hapaco Corporation.

- Yen Son JSC, previous known as Business Service Enterprise directly under the Office of Yen Bai Provincial Committee, was established in 1985 operating in processing of wood, gemstone mining, trading of synthetic materials (petrol, automobile accessories, etc).
- On August 12, 1996, Yen Som Company signed a contract with Hai Phong Paper JSC on the business corporation and establishment of a joint venture company named Tran Yen Paper Factory.
- On March 31, 1998, Yen Son Company signed a contract with FEC – Oriental Sun Enterprise Co., Ltd to cooperate investment in printing equipments and exporting votive paper to Taiwan. According to the contract, the Paper Export Factory was established.
- In 1999, the company established Van Yen Paper Factory, additionally provided it 2 production lines of paper to increase the capacity to 2,800 tons a year.
- In the end of 1999, the company contributed capital to implement the production of paper for export projects cooperating with the Ha Giang Agricultural-Forest Products and Foodstuffs Processing Company. They established the Paper Manufacturing Cooperate Factory with capacity of 3,600 tons a year.
- On May 4, 2005, the Yen Bai People’s Committee issued the Decision No. 149/QD-UB on the sale of the state-owned capital of Yen Son Joint Stock Company to Auction Service Center of Yen Bai province.
- On June 16, 2005, Auction Service Center of Yen Bai province issued the Decision No. 23/QD-BTS on the sale of state-owned shares of Yen Son Joint Stock Company to HAPACO Joint Stock Company.
- On April 10, 2006, Yen Son Joint Stock Company (YENSONCO) and HAPACO signed the minutes of liquidation of joint venture Tran Yen Paper Factory contract. According to it, the Tran Yen Paper Factory officially became a dependent accounting unit of YENSONCO.
